So him indoors announced he wants an airplane inside glass cufflinks  ???

So I thought Murrini - can't find any....then I thought decals maybe....
Any ideas perchance?

Screen-print enamels!  I do taxi ones and it's great to get all the little details, then you can cap it with clear glass.

Nope, those are decals.  You can get custom decals done, but it's quite pricey and they print an A3 sheet at a time.  I screen-print in single colours and then handpaint if needed too.

Or you can get a metal foil (copper or fine silver), quite thick, and a fancy airplane-shaped hole punch, then you could do an inclusion :)

Do you know, I think I have a hole punch that's a plane I got in a kit!  I am such a hoarder... :-[

That's only for a sepia coloured decal, full colour waterslide decals work out between £20 - £30 for an A3 sheet.
