I'm going to a wedding in August and want to make myself a necklace to wear. My outfit is pewter grey and red - can anyone recommend a red 104 glass that would look good with transp dark grey effettre ? I'm thinking of doing some form of dotty discs or doughnuts maybe also using white, I'm still just thinking.. :)
sangria CIM) is a lovely red to use, if you did white dots topped with red the colour would be clearer,
how patterned is your outfit?
sandy
CIM Maraschino is gorgeous.
Either of what they said, both gorgeous.
I have some Sangre that I would be happy to swap if you like?

Many Thanks for the suggestions
Spexy I've pm'd you :))
I'm thinking that a post box red might also look good so can anyone suggest a a strong post box red colour.I tried my trsp grey yesterday and it's awful to work with, now i remember why i haven't used it much! It's spitting , bubbling and shocking, hopeless to work with. it's effetre and i've had it for ages ,does anyone know of an alternative that behaves itself?
Effetre or Vetrofond Light Red is a nice postbox red. The Vetrofond is what I use but I suspect the Effetre could be just as nice.
I like dark steel grey (effetre trans) and for reds I am quite addicted to the effetre striking red, a wonderful cherry red, but not quite opaque and it doesn't streak which is a problem I have all my opaque effetre reds, but might not be quite what you are looking for. :)
Hiya. Forum newbie here; hope I can make a grey suggestion! I'm in the states, but I believe CIM Messy glass is just as accessible in the UK. They make a blue/grey transparent called Twilight that is nice.
If you aren't wedded to a transparent grey, I recommend, and have to say I am in love with, CIM's adamantium. A gorgeous grey with a bare hint of brown. Delicious.
And yes LOL I am kinda partial to CIM. Although not exclusively; I use effetre, vetrofond, Devardi as well. I just find CIM usually well behaved and love their palette.
