Title: Is there any metal that can't be fused?
Post by: jeannette on April 04, 2012, 11:00:07 PM
More interested in the safety factor rather than what happens with colour etc...
So will anything explode or anything mad like that?
Thanks, on that cheery note!!

Check the melting points, I expect there are metals or alloys that could melt at fusing temperatures (solder and such).

And I wouldn't try magnesium, it might burn ;D But if you stick to metals you'd normally find in a home or among your crafting stuff rather than in a chemistry set you should be fine as long as the metals don't melt.
