I am just wondering what you do with your glass shorts? Mine can't be used they are usually down to about an inch long and I throw them in a brass bucket. I have approx 4 years worth and now need to get rid. What do I do with them?
Twisties. Make a paddle of clear/white/black glass, using tweezers line up your shorts on both sides in a pleasing colour combo, melt pull twist. ;)
Thats clever Sue....I can't wear my glass shorts because they're too see-through!
Boom boom ;D
Pick 'em up with pliers, stick a bunch together and colour mix them about for random streaky effects, make hearts from them, pull them down to stringer...
Brilliant, I am going to have a lot of twisties then ;D
I took mine to a glass fusing class and I made a fused glass 'piece' which i am very pleased with!!!
As a rod gets short I melt it on to the end of a new rod so there is very little waste. What waste there is I put out for the glass collection, life is too short to b***er about worrying about a bit of glass.

Chop into equal lengths and make stud earrings!!
