What make is this please? I have, well had, one rod as I used it in a heart. It was very shocky but looked interesting I will see tomorrow. I was wondering who makes it..
effetre make the seeded glasses, i don't know of a UK based supplier though :(
I've only ever been able to get hold of this at Frantz, or occasionally at Moretti and More - sorry Jean, I don't have much more or I'd send you some. :(
It was you sent me that one Sue, :) its really unusual, I quite like it. very shocky too though I had to stick on exploded bits to finish my heart! ;D
Ah, I did tell you to work it cool my dear, taint shocky if you're careful ;)
I am so not cool, I worked it cooller after it exploded! ::) but my heart is cool! ;D
I'd send you some too if I had any left :) you could always see if anyone wanted to do a group order, tho tbh I find you sometimes pay just as much when you've factored everyone's p&p and the dreaded customs!
What does it do/look like? Anyone got piccies? :)
is it the one that makes bubbles ?...sooze from the beadshed used to sell it
Sue says she has some for me yay!
heres a pic..

Pretty, but not really pink is it? Looks more peach.
Weellll, that could have been me odd things happen when I'm torching sometimes. I also dont know what its actually sposed to look like. ;D
Jeannie - I think I have some purple (more of a pale amethyst) I'll fetch it to the flame off for you - I like the clear, but even then I really have to be in the mood for its bad behaviour to put up with it!
Wow, interesting effect. Thanks for posting Jeannie. :)
If you layer it over a white core it looks pinker, but yes, I would say seeded peach is a far more accurate description! Considering the lack of a good peach glass out there, even better ;D
But I still don't like it much ::) It's better in Jeans hands methinks. Gay, if you give me the purple at Flame Off I'll send it on to Jean, I have other bits to collect for her.
Ooh lovely thankyou! I will make lots of peachy pink and amethyst hearts! ;D
I love seeded glass. I'm completely out of both the light and dark amethyst now :( and down to my last couple of rods of white, aqua and topaz. I've got a couple of memorable burns from it too.....

I did, I don't sell glass any more though, decided to keep it all to myself :)
My pink was shocky! happy to share whatever Gays giving me George x
I bought some a while back from Uwe at Glassulger.de (http://www.glassulger.de) in Germany, and I've just had a nosy and he still seems to have a few colours in stock in his Effetre section under Rohrglas. I love the aqua, but yes it is veeery shocky, as others have said you have to introduce it extremely slowly into the flame. :o 8) :D
Thanks Helen! Glad its not just me with the shockiness! :)

Thankyou Gay, I will paypal you some dosh for it to spend at flame off in exchange if you pm me your addy! ;D
I have a few rods that Sue gave me, I've yet to try them, so thanks for the heads up on the shockiness.
No need Jeanie, will have to check I've still got some, I know I sent some to someone else, will let you know and split it between you and George - but there is probably only a rod to two. I got it from Jock's glass at the Flame On in Holland year before last.
You're lovely Gay - but I'm sorted now ;)
Glad your sorted George :)
Thanks Gay! :-*
