This month's Untold Tale........lots to learn yet, but not unhappy for a first attempt :)
It's a thing of beauty is what it is!
Looking forward to seeing the evolution.
It's a nut! ;D ;D And a thing of beauty :) And I love it ;D ;D
How tall?? I have a feeling it is bigger than I'm imagining :D
Thank you :) It's about fist-sized (so probably smaller than you're imagining ;)) - the rods are 4mm.
it's a grown up version of one of these tactile balls you get for babies that you can put your fingers through and hold onto it.
Well that's what I would like to do with it, its great. :)
I was imagining.... walnut sized ;D ;D ;D Fist-sized is much more impressive! ;D ;D
I agree it's a thing of beauty, tis lovely ;D

I agree too! wonderful!
It's fascinating and beautiful
oooooh very nice Sabine!
I will admit from the title i thought it might have been the "thing" we were all having a good giggle about at your open studio day ;) ;D
It looks great Sabine. :)
Lol Gemma!!!! I think I'd have put that in the smutty room!!!!!!
Thank you all, the thing is very pleased about all the attention - it'll still go in the bin at the next tidy up :)
That's an excellent thing, Sabine!

Noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can image there are plenty of people willing to rescue it from the bin! (me included!)
Lol, no, not allowed, it only looks properly 'nutty' from one angle, can't risk somebody turning it! ;D
It's almost an egg shaped thing, looks lovely from this angle ;D
It might only look nutty from one angle but I bet the other angles have there own charm and I would love looking at it and imagining that I was that good. Please not the bin.

I promise if you send it to me it'll go ontop of the cupboard in the living room and always face one way ;) :D However it may only get dusted twice or once a year ::) ::) ::)
It's bigger than I thought too, I bet it looks lovely in the light.
What a cool thing! ;D
You can't bin that! :o It's beautiful. I'd willingly give it a loving new home ::) Form an orderly queue behind me folks ;)
You lot are bonkers....but it seems churlish to throw it away when several people want it, so...

;D
But bonkers in a nice way ::) If you'd thrown it away we'd have had to send the boys round to have a word ;)

That was my plan too, so if you hear your bins rattling late at night it's not foxes, it's lampworkers ;) :P
Ha ha, I'd be rooting through your bins too!
