Hi All
Just came across this on t'interweb... I thought it was good for explaining how fusing and slumping schedules work, without being aimed at a specific type of glass.

I'll be adding it to my information file!

I likes it, much wordier than my explanations of 'Because thats what you do!'
Thanks for that. It looks most helpful to help understand the processes involved.

Lol, yeah, that was my thoughts too (about me, not you Rachel ;) )
Although I have to add its like many of these things, it unrealistic to think you can learn it overnight. It took me a year while I was doing my degree, of firing things literally everyday before it all clicked and I understood what was goIng on inside.
Added to my list of useful info - I have to say I enjoy the Learning process involved with fusing. A little tweak to the program here and there band see what you get I am always thinking I wonder what would happen if - it is so much more than cutting and stacking glass and putting it in the oven ;D ;D
I have been doing a fusing and slumping course at Uni, but I have no idea about how to actually set my kiln, so this is useful, thanks
