Ooooh, are you going to Kobuki?  ;)  ;D ;D

That is really very fabulous. Some of us might be put very firmly in the shade, if we were to go.  :)

That's fabulous!  What red did you use, I find most reds i use look washed out. I am sure you'll enjoy the lessons  ;D

Wow, thanks guys - tbh the photo probably does it some favours. There's a lot of air trapped, and the petals aren't in the right places, but it's along the right lines, and I'm semi-pleased, given I've not made a marble in ages. No pictures of the back - it's rubbish!

You're funny. I doubt anything like that's going to happen. I quite expect to be put firmly in place by some of the rather marvellous Euro-lampworkers we never hear about...

I think it's Momka Carmen Red (http://off-mandrel.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65_77_125&products_id=910), the black is TAG Knight Rider (http://off-mandrel.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65_77_78&products_id=1064).

Thanks for looking, everyone. I'm off for a week of Hot Shop now... ;D

Oooooh, I'd love to meet Marcel  :) :)

I think you are underselling that marble, though. It looks very marvellous - and the Carmen Red seems to be working very nicely encased, which isn't something that can be said of all boro opaque reds.

Enjoy the hot shop  :)

Hmm, I'd forgotten they were up there. Quite important to know that I didn't make the fairy. That was Maestro Gianni Toso (http://www.giannitoso.com/index.php), with whom I was taking a class at the time. He's quite good.
