Wow, what a gorgeous start already!
But boo, I don't have any bluedini. :( And I'm supposed to be having a month without buying any more glass. :'( Maybe I can stretch to just a tinytinysmall Off-M order. ::)
I've had this colour for ages, but it didn't really tickle my fancy, so this is my first real foray into Bluedini.

I really like those Kat, very clean design, does it for me!
has anyone stared at Jolene's lovely twisties, they start to look like their moving after a while, like one of those illusion pictues, can't see any dolphins tho!! :D
kath
I do that on Jolene's etsy page sometimes, just scroll through and stare at the twisties. ;D Glad it's not just me :D They're like one of those illusion books, fab.
Darn it, gave mine away >:( Such lovely beads already, I should have given it another chance!
Mmm, I think I have some lurking somewhere, it's very green though. ???
:) Lots of colours here - and I have already shown them in the gallery - but the green ones in this set are bluedini.

I have just ordered some great bluedini so i should get to make something before the end of the month :)
Here are 2 from me :)

might have to investigate flicker ..photobucket does not believe me for ages when i say happy to resize (if only real life was so simple !) ...but maybe i am missing a trick ???
Here is one from me. The base is the original bluey Bluedini.

I found some Bluedini, or Blurrydini, sorry about the camera shake.

Base glass of this my first harlequin ring topper is Bluedini
(http://i983.photobucket.com/albums/ae311/bobthomas/Beads/DSCF3439a.jpg)
Well as luck would have it, I found a rod of bog standard Great Bluedini while I was playing on the torch today.
Here's the result (there's a bit of Lapis Cobalt and some Ekho in there too, and the Great Bluedini is over a white core on the main beads):

All the beads so far are beautiful, but I'd love to know how you got that sparkle in your bead Sywenna

I wrapped the Bluedini base in silver foil, melted it in fully and it came out all sparkly :)
not sure who called it Bluedini but its very green ;D - well the glass I have with that label is anyway - so I mixed it with some light aqua and some chalcedoney and a bit of bluestone for this,

not up to much as a photo, or as a bead compared to the rest on here :-\
This was made a few months ago, although very dark it is definitely bluedini

I'm beginning to like this colour a bit more...I especially like this bead tomcat, beautiful colours.
This is also in the Gallery, Unique Bluedini with silver foil and a ring topper to match. + close up of topper

thank you cbeadies, there are so many fab beads on show here - mine is much less technically and artistically challenging to make and certainly not as 'wow' as the rest but I enjoyed making it. I like the mix of colours and I was especially pleased with hand rolling the shape on a flat marver, just for once it was pretty even :)
Eek, first monthly challenge entries, these are ivory and great bluedini

Its amazing how many different shades you can get from it depending on what you work it with, I think I'll be having another play with it soon. Love it with the rubino and silver leaf Chris.
