Title: 14KT
Post by: Blue Box Studio on August 22, 2011, 02:30:51 PM
I've a rod of transparent gold glass which I've acquired from someone which is labelled '14KT'.  Any clues as to who makes it, do I reduce, or strike, even 'treasure as you'll not see it again'?

Anything you can tell me apart from 'melt it and see, it's only glass' [I'm a coward]  is a bonus.

I'm having a 'green' day, everything is coming out green so don't want to waste anything!

Hi, 14K is an Effetre colour, I bought mine from Frantz Art Glass USA. I think it might be exclusive to them, product no ...713. I tried a sample bead and it stays a nice 'golden clear' colour. Hope this helps!

Corinne :)

Thanks.  I was hoping it might be more exciting than that.  I shall go and melt it and see what I think of it!  The way my day's going, it'll be green  ::)

It's lovely - I was asking a while back if anyone knew where I could get hold of some in the UK.
