Lovely beads everyone - and that's a colour combo I'd not have thought of Sarah, it's great ;D

sandy
Ohhh I love this colour, will get cracking ;D
oh, think I have a stick, but it looks so much like ask neon (which I love) in the rod anyway, that I forget to use it!
great beads so far, love the pink with it!

Thanks Kaz :)

I used this for the first time and its a lovely colour.
I decided to put it with orange, but its a bit overpowered with the strong clour of the orange, think i should have used more green :-\
It does make a nice soft edge against the white (CIM peace)

Super beads, the pink and green look great together!!
These are PA over anice white

one of my favourite colours too! :)
Ok, well I gave it a go and can honestly say I'm not feeling the love for Green in general, but Poison Apple in particular!
I only had one rod of this colour, so had to be thrifty - the centre lentil is Poison Apple, and half of the smallest lentils are also Poison Apple...
You have certainly done the green justice though Helen - they're lovely beads.
Ooh Helen, I could almost eat those :)
Poison Apple, White and Transparent Sage Green (which was being scummy, but I didn't notice until it was out of the kiln. Boo)
That's a nice colour combo!!
This one is inspired by Trudi's beads. I wanted to see what would happen if you also added mink to the mix, so this is poison apple and mink over anise white. My anise has gone more opaque than hers, and the centre between the colours has gone a bit curdled.
(http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5014/5554460276_272495e7f9_m.jpg) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalorlo/5554460276/)
Poison apple with encased raku carrot murrini on the left. Look at the bright pink colour! Also yellow dots and SIS. On the other side I reduced and encased my murrini, just to see what would happen. This wasn't what I expected! But I was right that it probably wouldn't be a good idea. (I hadn't encased these murrini at all before - I always keep them on the surface, so this was an experiment).
(http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5303/5553875559_722b96dc3e_m.jpg) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalorlo/5553875559/) (http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5258/5553875369_0c31223bae_m.jpg) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalorlo/5553875369/)
These have a twistie of cocoa and latte macchiato and matching murrini, plus anise dots. I think the dots are a bit much - the twistie wasn't very visible when it was hot, so I overdecorated it. The murrini are a bit more interesting on this background, but they're still very muted.

Lovely beads!
Raku doesn't like reduction, just striking (hence the pink colours from the hot clear) - it just goes murky!
Kazx
I know, I just wanted to try it for completeness' sake :D
I was actually expecting the whole thing to just go silver. But it didn't!

an apple in poison apple (well mainly scummy clear covered in poison apple!), real shame it has a humongous crack in it.......I pulled it out the kiln to show it off to the other half, eeek! lesson learnt!
kath
Oh I like the apple Kath, such a shame it cracked
ok, so here is mine, poison apple over white (only got one skinny rod of it) with various pinks
I was expecting it to be more like the colour of the rod, this looks nothing special, more like eff pea green.

I like the colour in the apple kath...think I'll try it over clear next time. it could however be because I worked it quite a long time.
I'm not sure how thick the encasing layer of poison apple is on my apple and i guess that will influence the overall colour it ends up.
It was much larger than I normally work, (no laughing Mrs Lush! ) it only just fitted through the bead door!
kath
This was an afterthought, I made the poison apple beads that I had planned and then had a quick stab at this heart - came out being one of my best yet! Rubbish pic though, will re-take when I can...

Lovely beads again this month, I like PA, haven't used it very much though.
I love the apple, Kath - great shape and such a shame about the crack.
Helen (helsbels) I adore your set!
Here's a little green goddess from me -

I love the varying shades in this colour, I think he looks fab in his PA outfit. He's sitting on a fritty bead using Izzy's Herb Garden. ;D
Sue - he's beautiful! What a cutie ;D I love the translucence you got too
Aw Sue, he's absolutely brilliant, I wish I could make somthing that delicate, more PPP for me!
