Title: Anyone want to swap my Kalypso for some other 104 coe?

Hello,

I have decided that my DH Kalypso is wasted on me, it's just too tricky for my menial skills at lampworking.  Would anyone like to do a swapsie for other 104 glass? :)

I like 104 glass - so Effetre, CIM or Vetrofond really.  Any specials or EDP perhaps?  I've got 5 rods of Kalypso going.... :)

I shall have a route through my stash - sure I can tempt you with something!

Do you get on with any silver glass? Terra 2 or Triton?

I've only ever tried Aurae, which went quite well for me as stringer, and silver brown (Reich) which was also good results.  :)

What are Terra 2 and Triton like to work with?  What colours do you on oxy/minor set up from them? If there's lots of striking and cooling and encasing they'll be wasted on me.... :P

Terra 2 and Triton are easier ones to work with and don't take lots of work to produce colours.

I'd say that if you get on with Aurae you'll definately get on well with Triton, and Terra 2 is definately worth a shot at!

Helen : Thank you ,I did, yes, that's what I followed - on three different occasions - to the letter.  I'm too impatient I think  ;)

Unfortunately I have tons of Kalypso - its Clio I'm short of. :-[

eek ... I've just read the Mods posts about the forum memberships changing - do I not qualify for "Senior" membership stauts as I can't "do" DH glass??  :D :P ;)  (Only joking!)  ;)
