Having just spent about 30 minutes trying to coax a nice bead from CIM Sepia, and failing miserably through it's bubbly, scummy hideousness, it got me thinking about which glass you hate/dislike?
It might be useful to have a glassy list to avoid like the plague!

i dont dislike any but some dislikes me :P ...if it wont do what i want it to i figure usually its me that has not got it sussed.....and will come back to it later

Ohh sepia is a beautiful colour, never did that for me. (unfortunately I did mess up the bead in other ways) and now I need more
I've not had a very good relationship with iris orange or magic. But then again I don't think I was 'talking' to it right. Not tried since.
It's the Unique Sepia actually - I should have said. Perhaps the normal Sepia is nicer!!
No I have some Sepia and found it boiled very easily, had to work right out in the flame. Not as bad as pulsar which I just gave up on.
I had it right out in the tip and it was still fizzing away... Pulsar is similar, but thats such a gorgeous colour that it's worth perservering with!

That is just a nasty boily glass, never had much luck with it.
Mine is Pulsar, love the colour but it spits, pits and boils for me.
I find most cim transparents don't like me, they bubble spit and pit, and its a shame because they have lots of lovely transparent colours but i have stopped buying them because they all seem to do the same thing :(
Daffodil yellow - every time I've tried it, I end up holding a short with a load of frit over the desk :( And annealing it doesn't seem to help. Oh, and flipping Pistachio!

I hate Anice White.... and Vetrofond odds.... frit on a stick....
Anice white - poke it in the kiln to warm it up. Vetro Odds ... hmm, forgot I had any of those!
I HATE Turquoise! Aaargh!! I ALWAYS reduce it to that gross orangy poo shade! Certainly my colour from hell :P T'isn't as bad in stringer form though I guess!
I tend to not do very well with some silver glass such as Luna!
CIM Pink Champagne. Looks stunning, so expensive, then fizzes and is a bloomin let down! I found both Sepias OK, but the blue one wanted to be worked reeeeally cool.
Another vote for Anice white from me.
Kalypso hates me with a vengeance, and I don't get Cranberry to do anything other than muddy grey.
Any glass that is currently in fashion because I see too much of it :D

I must say I'm with you Julie on the Striking Terracotta front- so much nicer than tongue pink!
I haven't had a problem with any vetro odds - and I love Striking Terracotta, just bought loads from Morettiglasscanada as it is really cheap there

can you just stick rods like this in the kiln then?

vetro odds love the colours but very unpredictable over shocking, can you just pop them in the kiln as they are ???
I hate the thicker rods you sometimes get sent, maybe I clicked on the wrong one.. they need much more nursing, I accidentally got thicker black and turquoise this way and I just accidently did it again with another colour! Might try popping the ends in the kiln though, that's a good tip. :)
I also don't get on with raku, the frit is ok, the rod is a struggle..
I don't really have a colour from hell yet! I'm still persevering with the silver brown - am gradually getting better results, so I have hope ;D
I like magic and raku now, and I always liked anise white.
Colours I don't want to use again: P&T 100coe mint if unencased. Don't know if it was just me and I haven't tried again, but I got a really weird surface effect - rough and cellophaney and you could flake little thin bits off, which worried me. I'd use it encased because it's a pretty colour.

it can boil, work it cooler, and when warming up, try and keep the end out of the flame - I know it sounds daft, but it works for me! (on both)
I like anice white too - I do have to be careful with it, but perhaps I got a good batch!

Now I am tempted to try striking terracotta. (tongue pink did not appeal to me) Now it sounds more like a colour I would use (seeing it helped too.)
Still thinking about a glass I absolutely hate, is naughty and ukky. The only thing I can think of is 004 clear. Maybe I am not that well travelled unles the glass has CiM in the name.
Recently I've been baking glass in the oven rather than grilling it on skewers, so I'll have to say Bullseye transparent fuchsia. It could double as black after being baked in full fuse temperatures >:( That's an expensive black, that is... I haven't tried tack fusing it yet though.
EDP ... some days it loves me, and some days it doesn't ... a PITA when you need consistency !

elektra. pretty turquoise with pondscum on top is all I ever get!
also do not like, see no use for, and will never again buy anice white. its not just the fact I end up with frit on my desk (or more often, oh look its working I've got a bead on the mandrel, oh poo an inch of the rod had just popped off and is attached to my bead!)
tongue pink striking terracotta is something I've not really played with extensively but Julie makes it look yummy, so its on my list to experiment with!
thought unique sepia was a bit bubbly...not just me then!
love EDP, dont care if its a bit shocky, devitryfies a bit, when it works, it is yummy!
however, dont see the point of stripped/striped pink. I mean whose idea was it to put a striking glass that likes being wafted around in the flame to get colour, with a glass that likes being cooked white snot and then not put back in the flame at all??
and even when I get a non devitrified bead its just a darker, duller version of EDP? AND its more expensive?
