Whats Vetrofond and what can i use it with
It's just another make of glass, and you can use it with Effetre, Double Helix and Reichenbach, and anything else that's 104 COE.
Can I ...... OH NO ....... my finger gonna be slipping again......... if I can use with 104 :o :o
It can be a bit incompatible, especially the odd lots. It is 104, I personally tend to use it on it's own just in case. Some of the odds are just beautiful ;D
A lot of the standard Vetrofond colours are interchangeable with Effetre, just tend to be slightly cheaper. Some of them are different though - the ivories are less reactive and the black isn't purple. The odds are fun ;D
I use vetrofond a lot. I find the transparents much nicer to use than the effetre transparents.
And the odd lots are amazing once you've tamed them. ;)

And me lol
Vetro black is lovely. The other vetros especially the transparents are good value. Love the vetro odds and the only compatibility issue I have had has been occasionally with SIS and silver wire. I wish there was more of it around!

I love the vetrofond light transparents especially, and I wish we had a full-range trader, too!
I liked Cosmic Storm enough to buy a proper amount of it, just found it again..............other than that, I mainly seem to have bought Lichen, Avocado, Petrified Wood, etc. I think I might need to delve into that pile today.......
I haven't used much of it, but I love vetro black and it's my only black. I was given a rod of Rhubarb which goes all "woody" in effect when it's fired, it looks amazing - I made a seashell from it, and it turned out looking wooden! Bizarre. I wish there was more Vetrofond available in the UK too. Some the specials colours look gorgeous.
