Firstly I need to thank my Dragon Midwife - Emma ;D For holding my hand throughout the entire process and inspiring me by telling me that I could do it.
On FH we rarely show our mistakes or how we achieve things, we just show the final product, but here, baring my all, is my very limited boro progress. I'm not doing this to crow, that really isn't my style. All I want to do is, hopefully, inspire other newbie boro'ers...... (and maybe crow just a little) ;D ;D ;D
These are my first ever 4 boro dragons...
The first three were made on Thursday and the final one was made this morning..
OK then, here goes....
My first ever - This one I call my Stevie Wonder Dragephant - note the dark glasses !

My second ever Dragephant.. beautiful spectacles and very strange snout

My 3rd a bit more like a dragon - however I chose a horrid bubbly boro colour and boiled it !

My 4th Dragon - made this morning - which actually looks like a dragon - but maybe I'm biased

Thats very sweet of you Fruddy, but mine aren't ready to sell yet - got to do a lot more work on them.. however my 'midwife' makes the most beautifully perfect dragons....
Beautiful Fiona!!!! ;D
I'm only ever so slightly jealous!!!!!
Oooooooh :o I bet they were huge fun to make!
Bet they were terrifying ;D
They were terrifying Tan, especially when they kept dropping off the punty and having to make them even... if you look at the first three you will note the very wonky eyes.. Quadimodo of the dragophant world... and the ears/wings look like elephants, not to mention the trunks!
Now I have the urge to make a mahooosive one - not a little ladylike one ;D
But it's certainly more fun than making beads ;D
There is something very addictive about that terror ;D
Congratulations, quite an achievement. They look pretty dragon-like to me.
They're fabulous, Fiona - I own one of Emma's dragons, and I love it!!!
Fantastic!!!!
Fi, you should see my first attempts!! :o :o ;D ;D Many of them are on the windowsill outside, to remind me. (and also to see what boro does at -18 ;D ;D )
They are looking pretty good! I love Stevie Wonder Dragephant probably best. I know the 4th is technically better but Stevie has dat attitood. :D
I quite like being a dragon midwife ;)
You are an excellent Dragon Midwife Emma ;D
Cool dragons! 8) I love the greeny no. 4 dragon. :)
They are fabulous Fiona! Number 4 is my favourite, with Stevie a close second ;D
Lovely dragons.
Very brave! I love the green one.
love the dragons Fiona ;D
Love em all, they are great
Thank you everyone for the kind comments...
Now I have to practice some more and try and make them my own. Mike's suggestion was to make them breath glass fire.. oh yeah!.... and give them 4 legs, a forked tail and huge wings as well... wish we had a sarcastic font :)
Sounds like a challenge to me Mrs Fiona ;)
WOW!
They're brill - each has its own character! :)
I'm mighty impressed, Fiona!! They are great :)
Well done Fiona well impressed
Margaret xx
They're fab ! :D
Love them Fiona - it's good to see the progress too. I really must get my boro out and play :)
But haven't you just got married? Should you really have produced quadruplets so soon aver the wedding ;)
