Title: what is it?
Post by: The Tartan Trout on January 09, 2011, 03:15:02 PM
I received at Christmas some mixed bundles of glass from Tuffnells. When going through them, I found one that is very pale transparent orange with a very thin line of opaque orange running all the way through the middle. It is Effetre 591072. What will happen when I use this?

Thanks :)

Sarah x

I got one like this but pale blue. I made a clear bead and 'encased' it with the blue/clear. It made a thin line of blue and looks like I have really good stringer control!! In fact I like it so much I made 4 of them!!

Sarah yours in transparent orange, it should strike to a more vibrant orange or maybe a red when you work it, or you may well work all the colour out of it and end up with clear!

Rikki you had filigrano, another beautiful glass, its a rod of opaque encased in clear and you can get all sorts of wonderful effects with them, lots of different colours out as well.
