Title: Mandrels
Post by: Rainbow1 on November 17, 2010, 01:07:12 PM
I was wondering what is the most popular size mandrel that people use?  ???

I have just bought some mandrels in two different sizes. 2.4mm and 1.6mm.

Thanks

I like 1.6 but they bend really easily so try to just use the for little  beads

Love 2mm too. Love them with my jewellery designer hat on as well.

I've recently been using the 12" x 2mm from Diane (Dilunah) and I love them - the balance, particularly for larger focals is just right for me :).  I previously used her 9" x 2mm and they are great too.

Thanks for the plug everyone ;D  I must say that even if I didn't sell them my favourite would be the 2mm :)

I'm def a fan of 2mm for everyday use. I find that the 1.6 are good for my little delicate beads but they bend very easily especially when I use them in presses - but then I am a bit of a nugget when it comes to presses ('scuse the pun)
