Hi all, has anyone else experienced a problem with this glass, three times now I have used this colour and put it in the kiln, only to take it out to find at least one crack!!
Its so frustrating >:( the colour is amazing especially when etched, I will post a pic when I get a chance!Any advice??
Pics added (note I did notice the crack before etching!)

Now you mention it.....yes I had one crack this week. Not used it much before. It was a nice neat thermal crack, luckily it was a test bead.
Yep that sounds familiar, looks like it has been put in the kiln cold! - I thought perhaps the first time it happened that I had let part of the bead go cold- the first was a large heart I only used the Porcelain on one of the 'lobes' which is the bit that cracked!
Second time I made the bottom of the heart in Porcelain and the lobes in Simply Berry, this time the crack appeared from the bottom and nearly all the way up.
Bazaar! :-\
could be incompatabilty issues ???...
I haven't had any problems with it. I would be interested to see pictures

Yes I thought about that, however the crack this time has appeared at the bottom of the bead and is not touching the other colour at all, I would have thought if it had not liked the other colour/glass then the crack would be adjoining it.. although I could be wrong! :-\ ???
Hmmm I had issues with it and ekho cracking! Glad to know it's not just me!
I made some fish with it a year or more ago, clear (probably 006) encased body, with some cim frit I made. straight in kiln.
they all cracked, I just thought the shape was too much for my little flame and I let it get cold.
was thinking about revisiting those, they were beautiful colours together. if I do, I'll keep a close eye on what I do with them, and what they do.
Thanks everyone, guess it might not be just me then! ;D
I may try some little ones and see what happens... still a bit annoyed the bottom heart cracked though, I was quite pleased when it went in the kiln! :(
I use tons of it, mainly with black and haven't had any problems. I often get cracking when I make hearts though. I just take too long faffing I think!
