Title: Quick release leaking!
Post by: dangerousbead on July 25, 2010, 10:20:11 PM
Help please! The quick release thingy on my propane hoses is leaking,  >:(

it looks like the sealing ring inside the female connector might be the culprit. Does anyone know where is the best (and cheapest) place to buy a new connector from? I could order from Tuffnell's but it's about £45 inc p&p  (sorry Martin) and that's a fair bit of glass. I'm desperate to sort this out pronto, I've waited all year for the summer to really get down to some serious practise, I've eight weeks off work(yes eight  ;D)and don't want to waste a minute.

I buy my quick release connectors from Hamilton Gas.

You'll need a couple of clips too.

My OH's Dad got a new quick release for me from a local gas supplier for a couple of pounds I think. OH is at work ATM but I'll ring him when he's home to find out where he got it from  :)

Wow, great supplier thanks for the lead. I also spotted that they do regulators suitable for torching at under £10!
