I've done some coldworking with fused glass before but want to use this technique on some of my lampworked pieces.
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions of a good place to start.
I've got a Taurus Ring saw which I've used on a couple of pieces and it works great but the throat between the base and the blade is quite small so can't use it on bigger pieces.
I do have a grinder but think I might need to invest in a lapgrinder at a later stage?
Although I can't tell you exactly what I want to do as I have no firm plans I know I want to use it to add decoration to pieces rather then fix pieces which need some changes once made.
Any books, sites, threads or people you can point me to?

I have an Inland flat lap bought from Warm Glass. I've found it works well through all the grinding phases but can't recommmend the polishing one. I suppose I've been spoilt by using DI East's vastly expensive flat lap. Hand polishing with cerium oxide is probably the route to go after using the lap unless someone could explain what I'm doing wrong.
