The colour of the month is back and I can confirm that the colour of the month challenge will be jointly sponsored by Off-Mandrel (thank you Sean and Gillian!) and Frit Happens. Each month the lucky winner, chosen by a random number selector, will receive a £20 gift voucher to spend on-line with Off-Mandrel. The draw will take place on at the end of the month so make sure you get your entries in to be in with a chance to win the goodies!

So, the colour of the month for May is Effetre 026 Transparent Teal Green - hopefully everyone should have some of that or if not, will be able to get some!!!

Teal trails over periwinkle opalino, looks all watery (it has a bit more of a sheen in person).

The hollow is an old bead (my first hollow!) that was made with the bluer rod of teal. There are three with Jolene's twisities and the end two dotties are with white.

Can't believe it has taken me ten days to look at this thread! Some really inspiring beads on here.

This is my first ever kitty kat bead, he has a core of white which i rolled in beady sams silver dragons candy frit then i encased it in the effetre teal! He looks much prettier in real life, i had a nightmare trying to photograph anything today, i think the sun is too strong!
