Title: Clockwork CIM
Post by: BeadyEm on April 20, 2010, 08:42:47 PM
Hi,

I have recently purchased some Clockwork CIM but I am having problems getting the colour to come out right.  I managed it once on my HH but I have now upgraded to a Bobcat and am  having a few teething problems.  Any suggestions of what I might be doing wrong?  It usually comes out mostly clear with an orangy-red core.

Thanks

Emma

its a striker, make your bead and it will be mostly clear, let it cool a bit then waft it through the top of the flame, the orange will appear.

Ah, didnt realise this either, mine went a sort of swrirly opal orange, quite nice, I must have part struck it.  :)

You can get some nice results by inadvertently part striking red & oranges - useful when I'm a Fyrebird  ;D
