Title: Brass tubing for blowing shards?
Post by: Ness on March 26, 2010, 04:41:56 PM
Will I be able to blow shards on brass tubing?
Seems like a silly question, I know.  Just checking with you lot 'in-the-know'.

;D

You have to have a much longer tube because it conducts heat more easily and quickly. I think I used about 18 inches but it's very unweildy.

If any glass is still sticking to the tube once the shard is blown, just reheat the tube and dip into cold water or have I misunderstood what was meant.
