So im in the middle of making a shopping basket for flame off and a few of the reichenbach colours have caught my eye but i dont really have much experience of working with reichenbach other than multi and one or two others ;D I wondered what everyone thought of their other colours? and what works well (or not so well) on a hot head? i was specifically looking at the deep black and the crystal clear for starters!
I love the mystic colours especially green and pink xx

ok antique clear definately in the basket...dont think i can stretch the budget to every single other colour though :P
It's now fav glass, love love love love it :) All of it :) :)
I love the red with the number 6015 T. In Germany it is called "Granatrot", I think you would say garnet. It is a really dark transparent red. It is a striking color.

Why not consider the new 'Mystic range'? one of every mystic colour, ten in all ;D
ooooooh good plan batwoman! i'd forgotten all about that! What do you think to the black Emma, i've only used effetre black sparingly before and now i need some more was wondering if there was anything better with the effetre not being a "solid" black :-\

Hmm the deep black does tend to bleed around the edges like the effetre intense black does. The normal black is fine, but that said the Tuxedo in CIM is good too :)
The mix pack of reichenback one of each colour is good value and nice colours! :)

I'll second that! :D I'm a newbie to Reichenbach, but my fave colours so far are Mystic blue and violet and Pink Lady.
Ohhhhhh the mystics are really funky!! Love them.
Antique clear - gorgeous, and ocean superb.
Pearl Beige is divine (as is pearl violet and pink) they have a "pearly shampoo" like finish!!!
I love the mystics too. I am particularly partial to the green, the beige (I know that sounds like it would be a very bla colour, but it's lovely) and grey (it looks all smokey...) You can make some lovely discs out of them...
It's a lovely glass to work with.
I would recommend that you try to get a mixture of packs so that you have a minimum of two of as many colours a s poss (that's what I did ;) )
I love Opal Raspberry ;D Iris Blue is a lovely colour too.

I adooooooore opal raspberry, i bought some the other week and already ordered some more! I got some iris blue at the same time and im starting to think i do something wrong with it cause it goes a really icky green ???
I love Reichenbach, the pearls and mystics are fab, though I think the colours I use most are gold violet, gold ruby bright, and antique clear. The garnet is great too! The black actually bleeds like crazy, completely swallowing anything in it's path, but it also reduces to a lovely silver metallic shine ;D
I bought some reichenbach 'magic' that's a khaki green colour and is meant to develop oranges, blues etc with working. So far I've managed sludge brown :-[ - what's the secret?
White hot, cool rapidly, gently re-heat.... you should see it "blooming" in the flame!

Ocean is VERY beautiful, and Gold Violet is another favourite...more gorgeous, less Barbie than Rubino, and far better behaved! Antique Crystal is another must-have as it works so perfectly with Dirty Martini and Ink Blue. In fact...there are many gorgeous Reichenbach colours, I would recommend getting a sample pack so you can try them all. Martin sells one for £4.00 - such good value!
