I was toying with the idea of ordering a SSlentil press from maria louisa before the flame off, but i have just bbought a cattwalk button press (which i'm still getting to grips with and is very similar inddeed to a SSlentil press.
So before placing my order with maria louisa, what other presses are to die for?
I currently have a zooziis lentil trio, a maria louisa custom press with a 22mm & 25mm lentil and a 18mm kalera, cattwalk button press, magdelena ruiz heart press, and a marble marver
What about a Pillow Shahlaa? I think you have all my other favourites below ;D

i borrowed a zoozis pillow waay back and didn't get on with it, i prefer the sleekness of a kalera
A crunch? You can vary the length that way. I love my crunch press :)
I like my tile press and nugget press, I use them quite a bit.
I'll second the nugget press - I love mine :)

I'll third the nugget press, it's my second most used press! ;D
see i had a nugget press but swapped it for a kalera trio which i did not get on with, but am now thinking of giving it another try. i'm half tempted to get maria louisa to make me a press with a 25mm ss lentil, an 18mm nugget, and a crunch or round tab...oh decisions!!!
has onyone got ant nice piccies of their nuggets or crunched beads? xx
The Zooziis nugget trio is my most used press. They also produce a larger nugget and SSL lentil duo - a very useful focal size of each.

The press that I am saving up for is Maria Louisa's marble press:

i'm def considering the nugget now but in a custom form by maria louisa. do you have the slim or original nugget? which are the best nugget sizes?
also dont bother with the marble press, get the marble marver, much easier to use and half the price. xx
It's probably the original nugget!
I have witnessed Julie (Lush) use the marble press for making PERFECT round beads, and there were 6 sizes, so it looked pretty good value and I had tool envy. I do have a marble marver from Tuffnells which as you say is lovely to use....
We are lucky to have such a choice!
no no no, julie sold her marble top and just uses it as a marver now. i had a lesson with her last summer and she showed me how to use it as a marver as you actually get rounder and better beads,
its this one but ask for a mandrel indent

eta: i also had tool envy so bought the marver, unscrewed the handle and use it as a base to marver my beads xx

Here's a small selection of nuggets Shahlaa.....

It's the picture in my avatar but that's a bit small. I tend to round the edges off once I've got the size right, but you can leave the edges quite crisp - I suppose it's down to personal preference :)

I have this duo and it's great. The ssl can also be used for chunky non focal beads, like a chunky bracelet!
Fab press!
I've got that duo too and love it.
The press that never leaves my worktop is Maria Louisa's straight sided lentil duo (28 and 32) - almost all my lentils are the larger ss lentil. It's also nice because if you have the ss lentil set then you can (if you want) make up to 5 sizes in the same shape.
For fun, I don't think you can beat Zoozii's Zulu press and it's surprisingly easy to use too.
I also like the nugget and the kalera from Zooziis and Maria-Louisa's standard lentils too.
I bought a crystal from Zooziis, didn't get on with it, sold it, decided I wanted one again, bought another and still don't get on with it ;D
So much choice, so little time.....
Kazx
I have 3 presses which I forget to use most of the time......
I think I'm getting press envy ;D
Just to confuse you even more have you looked at these beadrollers:
http://www.cgbeads.com (http://www.cgbeads.com)
I have a couple of the spacer ones and really like them.
I would like another but can't decide which to get.
Here's an example of the nugget press, these are the biggest size I think.

these are lovely too, is this the same press as stephs or a different one , and which one is the cube crystal duo?
there are so many different presses
Erm.. might be, or mine might be from Maria Louisa - will have to check. They are pretty close anyway. Mine are slightly rectangular, Steph's look more square in dimension.

Have to say when I was lampworking that was the only press I could get on with I loved it ;D
Oh my that marble press looks just fab...wondering if i could get such good results with the marver... :-\
I had a go with a nugget press too and i have to say it was nice to use and i found it fairly easy, its on my wish list but it's gonna be a while :(
i only have lentils so i'm not much use.. i would however like a cg beadroller, if anyone wants to do some form of bulk buy!
Well I'm busy already thinking of all the nice things to bring for you all.
I'm with Kaz, the SS lentil duo never leaves my workbench, I use it all the time.
