Title: DH Clio...
Post by: Veebee on March 01, 2010, 09:59:40 PM
Hi!
Well, I read the LE thread (such as it is...) and from what I can tell, if encased Clio goes into the kiln green, it re-strikes and turns pink. Well, I have Clio, I have greeny looking encased beads..... what do you reckon?

Has anyone here had any experience with this glass yet? Successes, disaters? Are we at a point for S&T?

I'm gonna be away for 3 days, so I can't see me being able to post my results, but if anyone has results, would you mind starting a S&T to give us an idea.... pretty please?  :D

I've made some, they are vaguely green(ish) but haven't gone in the kiln yet, so I'm none the wiser yet!

I had a play today.
I encased white with it and had mixed results.
The most colours I got were when I reduced at the top of the flame for a long time. I got some lovely pinks, bordering on red but they disappeared when I encased it. The heat dissipated the colour.
So, I did one unencased and it is in the kiln so more results tomorrow.
Other than that it behaves exactly like aurae.
