Hi,
I'd really love to get some Pixie Dust/Mica Powder to decorate my beads with - anyone got any advice of where I can buy some from in the UK?
I have found some on the following page, are they the right ones to use?

I thought it was ground up pixies - isn't it?
Honestly you lot, what are you like ::).
Pixie dust is the fine dust that coats pixie wings, or to be more accurate it is very small scales similar to the ones on butterfly wings (but they do not withstand the heat of bead making) and pixies are farmed legally in this country in small free range, sustainable colonies.
Needless to say not all countries have such high welfare standards and intense pixie farming is common outside the EU. Yet another reason to buy your pixie dust from a reputable UK supplier and check for the free range logo.
;D ;D ;D
Ill be stocking Joe glows 104 glow in the dark powder in the next week or so,, should be retailing for about £5.00 for 20 grams
pm me for more info.
stuff has been in the uk for 5 years but no one has caught onto to it yet!
Wow that's a good price for Glow Dust! Lat time I bought it, cost a fortune!
I get mica powder from Held of Harrogate as I got a great tutorial from them for painting with it and they give you a good idea on what works best on a light background and on a dark one.
