Oh no :(
I've just tried my kiln 3 times, and each time its overheated to about 580 degrees and given me Err 5 with an alarm.
Any ideas anybody?
Not a clue but I hope you get it sorted soon Julie.
Didn't somebody else get this code recently? Can't remember who or what the outcome was but there's a thread somewhere I think.

Hope you get it sorted, Julie. Have you got some vermiculite or a fibre blanket in reserve?
Oh crikey, it its the same problem that Kaz had then it looks like I'm gonna have an enforced Christmas break on my hands, aaaaaaaaaaaaagh >:(
Julie - this is exactly the same problem I had and I think you got your Maxi the same time as I did. Email Lee or Brian ASAP - they know what the problem is and hopefully will sort it for you ASAP. In the meantime a quick trip to B&Q for some vermiculite may be in order ::)
Kazx
Email sent Kaz ... I hope they haven't already gone off their Christmas hols :'(
Great Jo, I'll PM him too I think ... gotta cover all my bases ;)
Aaah, good luck with it, Julie - hope you are in time to get help!!
Well .... with thanks to Wonder Woman ... I can confirm that the problem is definitely with the controller and ... even more thanks to Wonder-super-duper-Woman ... I am now up and running on a loaned controller until Kilncare return to work.
Thank you my lovely friend, I owe ya BIG TIME! :-* :-*
Seems you are surrounded by wonder-women, Lush - how wonder-wonder-ful ;D ;D
Just one Wonder Woman, Julie, but she is very wonderful ;D ;D
Very wonderful! ;D
Glad that you are up and running Julie :)
Exactly the same as the one I had on my Beadcube too!
New controller from Kilncare, now happy!
