I have my lovely starter kit!! It includes 2kg of beautiful mixed effetre glass, and while gazing lovingly at the glass and sorting through which colours I was given into a colour spectrum (OCD?!) I noticed that I have five rods of transparent light grey... Unlike most of the others, I have not really seen this colour discussed on FH, so I was wondering if anyone really likes it, what you do with it, and if you could maybe show and tell me things you have done with it? I have more of it than any other colour and I'm feeling a little uninspired looking at it!!
Thanks! x

Trans Light Grey looks wicked with silvered ivory and then ETCHED!
Sorry... no piccies :(
Thanks Julie, its lovely!! I especially like the CZ florals with the grey background and black outline (*brain cogs whirring...*) think I need to practice my dots first (!) but its lovely to see the colour combinations!! Keep them coming, there must be someone on here whose favourite colour is grey?! (maybe not then...) ;)
Also looks amazing with pale opaque pinks like cim gelly sty or effetre lt pink x

I Just love this colour - looks fab when mixed with a little silver glass - it's hard to show the shine on these pictures, but it's lovely

I think these may have been the darker shade, but it would still look fab with the lighter shade!

Ooh, those are lovely. I'll keep it in mind for when I can finally start having a go with my starter kit! (I think I have rather less transparent grey than you do, but I have quite a few different opaque greys - we'll see what I can do with them).
wow trudi, they are stunning!! especially third pic down, such a perfect set :o
Thanks everyone, this is getting the thought process (and excitement) going!
I use it quite a lot, along with transparent steel grey and black n white ... http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=town&w=27537613@N04
I am loving all of those beads!
It also goes well with Effetre Ink Blue:

Grey isn't a colour I normally use that easy but last summer I didn't have anything to go with my new dress so I made myself a bracelet and was stunned at the beautiful colour that grey really is. I combined it with dark grey and white:
