Well I finally moved in yesterday....
Here's the feline clerks of works giving it the final once-over before handover....

Here's the good side

Here's the side that still needs to be sorted out (with a good view of the aircon/heater unit in situ)

Here's my glass store (these units from IKEA are great just wish someone had told me that 3 x 6 = 18 and NOT 16 - shows what a grammar school educashon does for ya!) Not brought my long rods, my ASK or my P&T from the shop yet and I have just bought a load of Bullseye - so not sure how it will all fit in yet.....

Still needs some sockets under the worktop - I asked for two doubles above and two doubles below and the builder decided that they would look neater if they were all above while we were away - Doh!!! So he's coming back to do those at some point ( ::))

this is generally why Mum takes me to Ikea with her when she's getting stuff for school. My treat for helping is thatI get to put everything up afterwards (sad but I do actually enjoy putting up flat pack furniture)
That studio looks fantastic. when do you actually get to sit down and start using it?
(beautiful puddy cat too)
Looks fabulous!!!
Dead jealous - both of the shed and the beatiful cat. Wish mine were that well behaved!!

Thanks all for your lovely comments and good wishes.
I have just popped in as I am spending the whole day in there today. I piddled around over the weekend but today is a proper day. Needless to say it is not now that tidy (sorry Lorna - I tried!!!)
Kazx

Kaz

It is stunningly, amazingly, jaw droppingly, envy makingly, bluddy fantastic!
Congratulations Kaz ;D
oh wow, cant wait to see what you make in that new shedio of yours now....perfect for more inspiration
That looks like a fantastic studio....so much in it.....and so tidy too! :) :)
What size is your shed, Kaz?
Hi Lyn
Thank you!
It is just 10 ft by 8ft - that was about the maximum I could fit into the garden without having no garden left!!! I spent hours planning what would go where in order to optimise the space and am really pleased I have fitted in two workstations. The one on the left will have the torch able to be easily removed and stored under the worktop so that I can use it for jewellery making and have a laptop out there if I want.
