Post by: Andy on October 24, 2009, 08:00:08 PM
Does anyone know where I can get Double Helix's Olympia rain in the UK.

I've just bought myself that great storm bead tutorial, looks fab. does anyone know any other rods that would be a good sub for olympai rain?

Hi Andy

As far as I'm aware its only available from double helix themselves - they have some in stock now. Their shipping is quick and reasonable.

My favourite glass for storming is light aurae but you can use any of the transparent reduction glasses. Have a look in the storm thread to see what the different glasses look like. Enjoy the tutorial - its great fun!

Golden emerald works well as does Zeus. Aurae also works well, as does Aion. I found Gaia works less well. I haven't really tried any of the darker colours as I am not sure the storming would show?

I tried with Psyche andyou could see the effect clearly (I just hadn't stormed it enough to look spectacular)

Tracey, In answer to the shipping question for Double Helix, you just skip the box that asks for zip code, go straight to where you enter your details for first time, it will automatically calculate shipping for GB once it knows that is where you are from....Good Luck
