Title: Encased stripey apple core shaped beads?
Post by: GlassOcean on September 30, 2009, 02:06:39 PM
Hi Clever Lot,

Do any of you know if there is a tut anywhere for the beads that are an apple core shape of stripes encased in clear?  Does this make sense?  I thought I had seen one but now can't find it and think I may have dreamt it!

???

Hi!
Do you know how to make a simple encased striped bead? If yes, then just before encasing poke small holes in the center of each stripe. cover with a matching transparent. Then encase.
Encase "badly", meaning don't use enough clear to make it go from mandrel to mandrel but too little, leaving the outer parts unencased.
