Title: Crunch or Kalera press?
Post by: Amber on July 25, 2009, 04:47:52 PM
I was all set to buy a crunch, but then I saw the Kalera! They look a pretty similar shape, except for the fact that the crunch doesn't have ends...but is one better than the other? Which is easiest to use?

??? :)

You could use the kalera as a crunch, if you don't fill it to the ends.. :)

Thanks Kathryn, that's a good point...I'm very 'press challenged', in that I find it really hard to use the right amount of glass in them. So I'm after something that's easy to use and quite forgiving, but versatile in terms of size. I'm thinking maybe the kalera long and lean?

I have a kalera long and lean that I am useless with but it makes for a fab crunch press so that is mostly what I use it for!!!
