Title: Baby slow cooker for pickling
Post by: Bobbo on July 02, 2009, 02:49:14 AM
Just thought I'd share the link for the slow cooker I just got from Amazon,it's a tiny 1.5 litres (looks even smaller) perfect for pickling, and only £11.99 inc delivery.

I use the same one - and have been doing so for quite some time. It works perfectly. Keep it on the lowest setting though, which is plenty.

Considering a 'proper' pickle pot is over a hundred quid, it's a real bargain!

I use an old mini slow cooker that my sister was going to chuck out - perfect for the job!
