I've been asked to price up tools to set up a fully functioning fusing studio at work but I haven't had a chance to use all the tools yet so I don't know what to recommend. (I'm going on a course in August but the budget closes before then)
I need a list of tools by priority and justifications for each of them.
I already have cutters, kiln wash, kiln shelves, glue, etc. It's the more substantial tools I'm looking at.
Can anyone help by suggesting tools for me?
I'm thinking ring saw and lap grinder so far but I don't know what makes & models to suggest!

I'm budgeting on about £1000.
I have my own basic tools already so if I have to leave out some of those and use mine in order to ge more expensive tools then I will!
('Cos I get to use them, too!!)
I can make moulds in our plaster shop so that's covered. I also have all the 'ingredients' for kiln wash. :)
I've got a fusing kiln for sale if you need one!! ;D
Also, the Swaptop grinder is good, as you have 3 choices of top, normal grinder, flat lap grinder and trim saw.
I swear by my self healing cutting mat and also a cork backed metal ruler.

Julie HB could help you out as she has a ring saw and grinder. The only lap gringer I have used was at Di's but I think it may blow yoir budget.
