Hi
I currently lammpwork, but i fancy having a go making some basic fused pendants in my kiln - I saw an article in Issue 3 of Making Jewellery - but I'm sure that it may have over simplified things.
Can anyone recommend a decent book for a beginner?

Starts at the very beginning so you should be able to skip some bits.

Yep its a brilliant book to get you started and beyond.
I think its in one of the ebay listing being sold by one of our fellow lampworkers (ex now ).
I've got a book here somewhere, Trudi. Wish you'd asked before yesterday! I'll try and find it out.
Dilunah's right Trudi, the tutorials on Warm Glass (.com) are very useful - they are all written by Brad Walker who also wrote the good to use " Contemporary Warm Glass".
To be honest, as a fuser, I would say don't go out and buy any book unless you are sure you're going to do lots of fusing - I have Contemporary Warm Glass, and also Keith Cummings book, the latter is probably more advanced than the first - but both, along with any other fusing books I have seen, all go WAY beyond a fused pendant.
As well as Warm Glass site, there's loads of useful information on the Bullseye website, I will try and update with links later - but there's Tech Tips are very good.

Oh, and of course, the moderators kindly set up a load of links to tutorials, etc, along with firing schedules, here on the forum
