Title: Do Butter Pecan and Ginger spread/react
Post by: Helen G on May 02, 2009, 06:52:58 PM
I have been asked to make a set of beads in creams and I am struggling with effetre dark and light ivory because they are so reactive. Does anyone know if CIM Butter Pecan and Ginger are like ivory and react with other glasses please?

I got a strong reaction from butter pecan mixed with triton dots - it went a sort of caramac brown and the triton webbed a bit, so don't bother with that combo for your ivory set!

Effetre silver pink is good. Doesn't react and is barely pink at all.

Vetro ivory is paler and doesn't react as much as the effetre.
