I've decided that i would really like a ss lentil press but the choice is just too much.... The thing i'm really puzzling over is whether to buy the standard or deep press. I don't want a really thin bead but then i don't want a really deep bead, just a normal size as in standard lentil but with straight sided, see my problem :-\    It's difficult when you can't see it first and i've bought the wrong size/type of press for me  before and just want to avoid  doing it again!  Which ss press do the rest of you most like?   :)

i think it depends a bit on what you want them for ...i like the lentels for sets ...and the straight sided for focals

i really like marie louises presses for straight sided as they are not very gready and she does combination press  (lentel and straight sided) ..get both of them in one press ...problem sorted  ;D

Are you going to any meets in the future? Perhaps you can ask people to bring theirs along to give you an idea?

I prefer the thinner ones as they use a lot less glass and are lighter, but still the same surface space!

I think that the thicker ones are ideal for the chaos type beads that sherry bellamy makes that have a lot of internal decoration.
