Helloooooo
I have just finished a picture in glass that I have made in three separate rectangular pieces and plan to tack fuse. I want to put it on the wall after like a mural. I am teaching myself as I go along and have been learning a lot through trial and error but I really don't want to mess this up it has taken me ages!
I would like the glass rectangular shape to keep it's shape the glass is a 3mm Bullseye tekta base with 3mm opaque colours on top if I tack fuse each piece will the glass keep its shape or will the edges round off?
Should I dam the glass and if so what is th simplest way to do this please?
I would be really grateful for advice.
Thank you :)
Hi. You don't have to dam a tack fuse, especially if it's 6mm thick. Glass always tries to be 6mm thick. Any thinner and it pulls in (dog bones), thicker and it needs damming at full fuse, as it will spread. Best of luck with it!

Hi Nick
Thank you for helping I am going to put the first piece in now fingers crossed :)
How did it go?
the amount of rounding off will depend on the programme, a light tack will still be quite angular.
