Title: Kiln cement
Post by: FireFaerie on July 23, 2014, 10:05:15 AM
Hi,

I've just moved house and forgot to remove a shelf from my kiln. Biggest and most expensive mistake ever!
Anyhow, I now need to find a stockist of kiln cement to fix slight damage to a fire brick (clean break, hoping thermostat isn't damaged).   :o  :'(
All the suppliers I can find are massive £30 tubs, I only need a little repair pot. Paragon does a liquid cement little pot in America for $9 but shipping to the UK for a little item works out expensive.

Any UK stockists of kiln cement? Please?

I've used fireplace cement in the past. Just Google fireplace cement.

Sweet, and thank you.

Screwfix stocks it at £3.99

I would have thought that would do the job.
If not we can send you out a margarine tub full for a tenner.
