Hehehehehehehehe - at last! I know what to do with this one ;D ;D ;D

i love the look of this colour, it just doesnt seem to feel the same about me!
I have it , I like it! :D
I have never used it, so its an adventure for me ;D
It's a lovely sunshine colour, me likes!
Is this bright acid yellow? I made something with it on Monday if it is?? ;D
I have three different effetra yellows. I wonder if any of them is acid. I hope it says on the label.
I want to have time to make at least one bead for the challenge. I like doing the challenge, but summer holidays and all, time is sparse.
Fingers crossed.
Ooooooo my favourite colour!! ;D ;D ;D
It would seem I have 5 effetra yellows.
one labelled bright acid yellow 591416, one rod labelled 591408 which is a much more acid yellow than the bundle of glass labelled 591408 which is almost orange. I have 591412 and 591404 as well. are any of these the right yellow?
416 is Bright Acid Yellow Julia, thats the one for this month :)
408 is Opaque Medium Lemon Yellow, which have probably varied a bit between batches?
412 is Opaque Dark Yellow and 404 is Daffodil Yellow.
Hope that helps? xx
Drat it's only 404 Daffodil yellow here
nevermind may next month ???

I love acid yellow! I love the name, it promises something so bright!
I'm sure the yellow here is acid yellow (I've not got many yellows)

And this is the bracelet made for me by Helen (HelsBels) last year in the bracelet swap, acid yellow teamed with creamsicle and turquoise. The little green beads Helen used also go well with these colours.

the butterfly is very much my design, but is the flower a bit too Lorna?
Lorna, I'm asking that of you too!
I'd like to make more, but if people think it looks like a copy then I wont bother.
Lovely, Madeline, and no, you carry on. You've got the 70's funky vibes whereas Lorna is more folky! :D
thankyou. think I'll lose those raised dots though.
had to fight myself not to put a raised dot in the middle of the flower!
Duhhhhh not at all Madeline!! they are gorgeous :D

Happy to oblige ;) :D
10% will do for my fee ;D
how bout I make you one...what colour would you like?
That's very sweet of you Madeline, and totally unnecessary! But if you're asking, I like purples, teals, aquas :D

these are one of my 'mix and match' sets (think i get bored easily ;))
acid yellow,ivory,iris blue ,clear,aurea
Love the butterflies Madeleine - & I wouldn't think you were copying Lorna's, your's have their own style but I know what you mean. It often worries me if you get an inspiration from someone else's work - but who was the first to apply dots and make them into flowers etc., there are only so many ways you can apply stringer but then again I find its hard enough to copy my own stuff let alone anyone else's.(That's why I'm pants at sets :) )

Ooh, interesting reaction between the yellow and the rubino there Chris. :)
I've pulled myself some twisties using Acid Yellow this morning so this afternoon I shall see if I can turn them into anything decent. ::)
I don't have any of this, I'm not really a yellow person :P Very interesting to see what you're all doing with it though!
I have discovered that I have 2 batches of this, one looks paler in the rod, thought it would cook the same...no, it cooks pale. I like it lots! pic later!
Here are my acid yellow beads.
I'm very pleased with how these came out.
First, a set of tiny beads, 6 are acid yellow and the other 6 are mystic yellow. they are all wrapped round with lauscha teal stringer.

And a set of tabs made by gravity swirling acid yellow and mystic yellow, then encasing, then squishing!

Very kindly Sue (awrylemming) sent me a couple of acid yellow rods so these are what i made

The one on the left has some lime green in it as well, but it seems to have faded out to almost the same colour as the Acid Yellow.
The Acid Yellow has gone almost fluorescent on the right hand one, which I'm still not sure about.
I have another whopping big lentil...

I was pleased with this design, I already made it up into necklaces in other colours (next size down lentil!), sold one, and she wants another in this colourway! see! customers do like acid yellow too!
I'm loving the variations in this one colour! nice stripes Kerra!
I made these a while ago. I don't use yellow much :)

Lovely lentils Madeline and Colette! I like the stripy bead too.
These were made a while ago, the brightest yellow is Acid Yellow.

awww Jammie those are lovely, and so are all the rest, well i found some of this colour and its deff not one i would use without been prompted even to practice with ;D but i thought i would have a go at encasing, it all slopped to the one side so i guess i need to keep it cooler next time but here you go my first attempts at encasing and a disc oh and more dots ;D ;D ;D

Madeline, I love the giant lentil!
I have a rather wibbly ring topper. It's a bit of a mess - every time I tried to smooth out the dents in the surface, I melted the petals in ::)
(http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6075/6092819134_767d6ecd01_m.jpg) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalorlo/6092819134/)
This has acid yellow in too, along with grass green, which it has reacted with to make the browns, and Lauscha dark green transparent. The murrini have acid yellow stripes too, but I had to make another batch with thicker stripes for them to show up properly.
