I would love a space to turn into a space to put my shedio!!

Have you had any more ideas about what colours to paint it?

That is one very swanky replacement for a caravan, and what a lot of lovely light.  I'm up for a shed soon as we are moving house and I will loose my great little stone hut.  There isn't anywhere for me to put my torch in the new place so I might have a short hiatus until I can find suitable alternative accommodation.  I will watch with interest how you get on!

Since the majority of the IKEA stuff seems to be black, white & grey, I'm thinking a very light grey wood stain for the external walls with a dark grey for window and door frames. I'll probably leave the inside a natural wood colour - just use a wood protector/oil.

That way you can help me choose a nice, bright colour carpet remnant/end of roll to liven it up  ;D

To properly liven up the shed the new carpet should be flammable, you know keep you on your toes  ;)

Red would look good with the outside colour scheme

It's all getting so exciting  ;D

Think I may have found the carpet! Went to our local carpet shop and explained what I neded.

It's a contract office carpet - suitable for computer rooms - it's anti-static and flame retardant.

Comes in a really bright red/black mix - as the guy in the shop said, the scorched bits won't show . . . .

Sounds like a really good solution and it will got with the colour scheme.

Had an email to say the log cabin bits are on the way from Europe so went to the carpet shop yesterday and ordered the red and black carpet  ;D

Unfortunately, I'm working away most of July so, if they manage to build it in this weather, I won't see it going up  :(

Have to get DH tp take pics.

I now have a shedio  ;D

As I was away, my OH texted a couple pics:

Base went in on Wednesday - looks as if a mole had been very busy where they put in the support posts!

Build was done on Thursday - they're nearly finished in this one

We started putting wood treatment on the outside and varnishing the inside. Carpet due to be fitted on 7th  ;D
