Is Martins  Reichenbach antique green anything like the antique clear that looks so lovely in everyone else's beads?
Cause I would dearly love to get my beady hands on some of the clear.
If it is different has anyone tried it yet?
Any photos at all?

Thanks, Julia

Shirley

Antique green has got sparkly bits in it, antique clear hasn't.

Hi, I am going to bump this as I am terribly confused about these two glass. I have the antique green which has the gold sparkles but I cannot find the clear on the Olympic Color www site. Am I missing something?

Well sort of but not really. I need to know the code number for this glass as I cannot find it on the supplier's site. I have done a search with the word "antique" and also gone through the pages but I cannot find it.

Oh no, it all looks lovely and I can't possibly spend any more money right now on glass!  Actually best I practice on what I have as still doing ALOT of learning, but it does look BEAUTIFUL!  Next year Lotti, Next year, be patient! ::) ;D

ok, are you ready.

Antique green is clear with sparkly bits
Antique clear is green with no sparkly bits.

If you want later I can do pictures.  Unfortunately I don't have the codes for the glass, the suppliers I get it from don't put codes on the labels.  I have a feeling that this may have something to do with Rech as no one seems to have the codes.  Possibly they give every glass batch a new number!?!

antique sparkle and antique green are basically the same thing ....like lots of glass different batches can have a slighty different look and sometimes behave differently ..but both the sparkle and the green are clear with sparkly bits ...

there is an antique clear and antique crystal  which are basically the same thing  ... clear......

no wonder you are confussed getting confussed myself now  ::)

maybe ask the person who made the beads you admired which class and who supplied it  :D

I actually just filled in Reichenbach 104 colours on the wiki - http://www.frit-happens.co.uk/wiki/Reichenbach  ;D

Antique clear is L4015, antique green is L1012G. (These are Reichenbach's current codes from their website. Not sure if they changed them recently to have the L for 104 lampwork colours).

Well this is strange. When I search for L4015 on their site, nothing comes up . Maybe I need to phone them..

I solved the mystery. They call it aqua and the number is 4015.

No wonder the confusion!
