Editing to add new books - and to state my favs. Most Metal Clay Suppliers have a range of books - but if in doubt Amazon will have them - some are only available as far as I know from the artist. This is stated where applicable...
Ok - First My Favs
Hadar Jacobson: Silver & Bronze Clay Movement and Mechanisms. A MUST have book - georgeous projects and answers to many questions that may crop up if you are working with BronzClay alot. A Book I wish I could keep a secret. Builds on her first book
The Hand Book Of Metal Clay which I would also Highly recommend. Both include many great projects. Both are avilable from her web site
http://store.artinsilver.com/puace.html Shipped from the States. Both books are spiral bound with soft covers. Or at least mine are. She also has a DVD which I havent seen but I would imagine is excellent.
Structural Metal Clay by Kate McKinnon. Another EXCELLENT book!! Kate is well known for her metal clay chains (and was my inspiration for my own chain bracelet) - Chapters include Clasps, Rivety Dots, Buildings and Boxes, Chain & Rings. There are no projects as such in this book - but chapters covering techniques. Available from her web site
http://www.katemckinnon.com/ Shipped from the states.
The Little Book of Water Etching and Enameling for Metal Clay - Catherine Davies Paetz - this book is an intermediate book and is available here -
http://www.cdpdesigns.com/ I love it. Its just wee - but if you are at all interested in Water etching and enamel then get it. Soft back spiral Bound.
Metal Clay: The Complete Guide: Innovative Techniques to Inspire Any Artist Jackie Truty
THis is a hard booked back covering mostly techniques but with a few projects at the back. Its a GREAT book and a really valuable source of info for every thing to do with Art CLay Silver, its products, tips, trouble shooting, etc - its got just about everything!
Precious Metal Clay Techniques: Tim McCreight - This is another book with NO projects- but with different aritsts contributing a chapter on techniques. 10 Chapeters which include : PMC Hinges by Celie Fago, Lampowrking and PMC by Barbara B Simon, ANd Water Etching by CECE Wire. I'd highly recommend this book - but its not really (IMO) for beginners. Hard Backed and Spiral Bound -
Metal Clay and Mixed Media Jewelry: Innovative Projects Featuring Resin, Polymer Clay, Glass, Fiber, Concrete, Collage Materials and More Sherri Haab One of my fav project based books - full of mixed Media Projects. Fancy a go at resin and Metal clay? Or Concrete? Or polymer clay - its all in here. Its GREAT! Paper Back, Available from amazon. I would aslo recommend her book "The Art of Metal Clay" It was my first ever book

It has some great projects in it including Beads
MAgical Metal Clay Jewellery by Sue Heaser - Sue is the director of our Art Clay Uk Guild, and is a fantastic artsit. THis I believe is her first metal clay book (but she has many other books under her belt) and its great! Its FULL of things your wouldnt have thought it was possible to make without a kiln. Chapetrs are split into sections - Basic Techniques, Basic Projects, Moulding , Beads & Rings, Filigree & Embelishments & Using a Kiln. Really good book - great for beginners, but I'm hangng onto my copy!
The Following are all Project based Books. Hard to say which ones are best as its down to taste - I really like the metal clay for Beaders Books by Irina Miech though and wouldnt be with out them!

There you go - hope that helps a little more- but remember these are only my own favs - moslty technique and info books as I dont follow projects in books prefering to desing my own work - BUT if you are a beginner then any project book would be good, the designs can always be modified. Also I have probably missed a couple and I dont have every single metal clay book in the world
