Hello, I am trying find some glue on button backs with movable wire loops on the back and would be grateful for any suggestions of where to look. I have spent far too long down the google rabbit hole and I don't know where else to look.

I have used some before from Fred Aldous but they only sell them in twelves and that makes them more expensive than I would like

I'd never seen these before, they look like a good idea.

I suppose you could do a budget version with wire: maybe 1mm. Make a loop, with opposing spirals on each end, and bend them out to fit the button. Tap the spirals a little flat and glue on. Actually I like that idea, might try a few that way myself!

Thank you for your suggestion Moira but I have actually found a supplier http://www.lightfindings.co.uk/ Their website is down at the moment but they will email you a catalogue. They have lots of jewellery findings in base metals or plated.

HA lightfindings have lots of nice stuff, they also do button covers.

Snowfall beads in Germany also do a button back in several sizes good for cabochon type so the rim is protected. Ypou need an account to see prices but the ones in this link come as a pack of 15 for 1 euro 45 cents https://www.snowfall-beads.com/beads/metal-buttons-16mm-with-setting-for-14mm-flat-back-d20553/si/44598
Now I can play all day as I retired from the 'proper' job....

Thank you for the link. They look very useful but I wanted the flat ones for a class where they will be making lots of different sized button cabs
