I am keen to try some mica flakes, so headed on over to Pegasus, but I see they're away at the moment.
On Ebay there are some that are specifically for using with glass, but there is also coloured mica for craft use. I presume this shouldn't be used with glass - is that correct? If so, can I just use any plain silver or gold mica flakes, or how do I know which ones are safe for use with glass?
Thanks for your advice!

I bought some from Warm Glass for fusing and I use them in beads, only a few at a time.  No idea how they differ from Pegasus flakes though, think the Pegasus  ones might be a bit smaller?

I believe they will be available at Flame Off.

You can't use just plain mica flakes unfortunately. I don't know how you know which ones work with glass.

I also bought 'gold flakes' from warm glass. you have to keep them out of the flame - encase quickly with a blob. I've only used them a couple of times - PM me if you'd like me to send you some to try.

We'll have shards on the Gloworms table but not especially bright colours.
I can make some in advance for you to choose from if you let me know which range of colours you are looking for
