Hey guys, bought one of these torches, but I'm noticing that the gas and oxy inlets look very thin? I bought from a UK seller do I assume it's been set up over here ok but the hose I have for the oxycon is way too wide for the nozzle on the torch??? Any advice much appreciated😀 x

Wrap some tape around the barb until it's a good interference fit with the hose.

Thanks Sean, wasn't sure if that would be ok to do, got 11 mm clear pipe online and it just looks massive compared to the nozzle!

11mm seems big to me - I use 6 and 8mm and have reducing couplers (brass for the propane, plastic for the oxy) to link the smaller size to the bigger. The more joints you have the more potential for leaks, that's the only problem!

It's ok Alan, just showed hubby and he is going to sort the proper size which is 6mm. I do have a spare length of propane hose in that size, is that acceptable to use? Seems a shame to waste it really....got the mandrels today btw....really chuffed with them so cheers :)
