Im using a nugget press for the first time and getting there, but has anyone any tips on getting the ends neat, some are great, some have flat at one end and a more dimpled end at the other?

Have you tried the plasticine trick to see how much glass you will need before pressing? - and marking the mandrel with an indelible pen for your footprint? Smiley
