I'm going to be brave and show you some of my attempts so far. I think I've probably sat at the torch for about six hours in total and spent a chunk of that pulling stringers and making a black and white twisty. I wish I could get more time in, I'm really enjoying it and could do with the practice  Grin. No lessons so far but maybe soon...

A few basic beads:

Multicolour frit showing awful attempt at encasing on the middle one:

Practice heart...this one is actually split down the middle but I stuck it together as it was my first. I made another couple as Valentine's gifts for wifey and number one daughter:

Caught in the headlights:

Ginger tom, I think he's been bitten on his ear  Shocked:

Sorry for the poor photos that's something else I need to practice  Roll Eyes

These are great! A damn sight better than my early efforts I can tell you!
And your cat is cool - I love his big grin. Like the cat that got the cream  Grin

great start there Ben. I have had a lesson and a few more hours on the torch and have not yet been brave enough to even attempt  an animal.

Carl, don't know if I'm brave or just daft  Wink

I just realised I forgot to add one picture. A small blown vessel:

I love the rabbit - he looks like he's been loved to death by a toddler and fallen out of the pram! Cheesy Great beads, keep practising, you'll be amazed by your progress! Smiley

They're pretty fab!  Certainly never been brave enought to make an animal and my twisties are pretty hit and miss so I think you are doing brilliantly.
