I have been using a very thinned down PVA clear craft glue for attaching hooks and glass pieces. I have found some cloudy spots and bubbles where the glue has been painted on.

Do I need to go and buy fusing glue instead? I was being a cheapskate  Embarrassed What's the difference between them?

I used this too, but only on opaques as far as I recall. I have heard that it can leave a residue, but I know people that have used it with success, so I would probably give it a bash. I have used Glastac, the bullseye one, but I find it quite thin and it needs some time to dry, it does seem to work, but my brain doesn't believe it as its so thin!
I have read that some people use hairspray (cheap stuff without conditioners) and get good results, but not tried it myself. Anyone?

I always use proper glue. Elmers seems to react with some dichroic glass so I use glasstac which isn't as thick as Elmers but no probs with any glass.

I use clear Honey, no residue when using on clear.....   so far......    ideal for keeping stringers / chards /  frit in place before fusing.   Nina
